Love Death + Robots: For He Can Creep - Asylum Exterior

In 2023, I had the privilege of working with Director Emily Dean and the team BLUR Studio on the brilliant episode ‘For He Can Creep’ designing the architecture and environments.

This concept is of the Asylum exterior, where our Poet is imprisoned and Jeoffry resides. My task was to draw reference to the original St Luke’s Asylum in London which was originally of Georgian style, and push the aesthetic to feel much more ominous and gothic.

My 3D models were quite resolved, so it's cool to see that they were used to help the production of the episode.

It was a huge challenge and pushed me in many ways I hadn’t been previously. Working with Emily Dean made life so much easier as she too is a talented artist who provides her own beautifully drawn sketches, storyboards and briefs for every task. The direction for the episode couldn’t have been much clearer.

There’s obviously a massive crew that went into creating this episode so congratulations the whole team who brought it to life!
